These parameters can include symptom severity, duration, and associated risk factors. Relevant patient information is also retrieved during this phase to provide context for the identified cases. As a result of this evaluation, cases that do not meet the established criteria are eliminated or flagged for review at a later time. Conversely, those that pass muster proceed to subsequent stages where they will receive closer examination and potentially be assigned treatment protocols.
